Leaf Cutting Ants Founding Pod

Introducing the first of our future Leaf Cutting Ant systems.

Featuring:

• High water retention gypsum base.
• Easy top up base with overwater protection.
• Mesh fungus bed to keep the fungus from coming in contact with a wet surface and improves airflow and waste fungus access for the ants.
• Easy access lid.
• High accuracy Bluetooth temperature and humidity sensor.
• Expansion port (24mm Tube) to enable the connection of additional pods when required. 
• PLEASE NOTE this pod is designed to work in an ambient room temp between 21-28c. While the unit can be heated this will likely result in condensation on the acrylic walls. while this does not usually affect the ants or fungus it will affect the viewing of the colony. Heated and larger pods are currently in development and available soon.
